Who We Are
Mittagong Dental Care is a family-operated dental practice that was opened by Dr Michael Burgess and his wife, Mrs Janet Burgess in 1993 and has proudly served the Macarthur region for over 25 years.
Experience comprises knowledge of or skill of something gained through involvement in or exposure to that thing over time. It can’t be learnt or bought and is vital in gaining a reputation as an expert.

Together Dr Michael Burgess, Mrs Janet Burgess, Mrs Karina Burgess Greig, and staff, strive to provide the highest level of quality care, one patient at a time. We are perfectionists with over 35 years of experience in the dental field. We take time to produce highly predictable and exceptional tailor-made solutions and believe a healthy mouth is the window to a healthy body.
Comprehensive Dental Treatments
At Mittagong Dental Care we provide dental treatments such as restorative (fillings, crowns, bridges, implants), prosthetic (dentures), endodontic (root canal therapy), periodontal (gum) therapy, exodontia (extraction of teeth), cosmetic (veneers, bleaching), and preventative (hygiene and sports mouth guards), as well as performing examinations, radiographs (x-rays) and diagnosis.
We can also prescribe medications such as antibiotics, analgesics, sedatives, and any other drugs used in patient management.
Government vouchers are accepted, including the Children’s Dental Benefit Scheme (CDBS). EFTPOS and HICAPS are available. We are open Seven Days by Appointment. Toothaches and new patients are most welcome.
